Seussical Jr. is a musical written in the style of Dr. Seuss books and includes some of your favorite characters. Our protagonist, Horton the Elephant, is on a mission to protect the tiny people of Whoville, who live on a speck of dust, while also caring for an egg abandoned by Mayzie La Bird.
Narrated by the Cat in the Hat, the show follows Horton as he faces ridicule for his belief, deals with the flighty Mayzie La Bird, and is eventually aided by the shy Gertrude McFuzz. The plot culminates in a trial where Horton is saved when JoJo, a young boy from Whoville, uses his imagination to be heard.
