Dialects Workshop -

Dialect workshop spanning two classes that focus on the British dialect. 

Let's dive into what it takes to study a dialect! We'll be taking two classes to study and present a British dialect. There are many dialects of Britain, but we'll be focused on Received Pronunciation which is the standard that we think of as Americans. So let's study our vowels and listen to the musicality of how another group of people speak!

Wordless Storytelling - 

One day workshop on March 13th.

How do we tell a story without any words?

Using IMPROV as well as detailed physical exercises,

we're going to find out how much we can really say without saying anything at all!

Do you want to explore the art of acting? Have interest in working on scenes or monologues? Come to Actor's Studio to learn more about what it means to be an actor and the tools actors use to prepare for their performances. Whether it is using the Stanislavski system or exploring what it means to practice "method," we will be utilizing techniques to advance your skills. There will be an open studio performance on the last day of class.
