Stage Combat for the Curious
Have you ever wondered how actors do slaps, punches, and falls without getting hurt? How does the pain look so real? Well it's time to bring the pain as we learn about hand to hand combat! In addition, we will be covering some basics of rapier sword play. Come to class so you can fool even your best friends when you break out into your own staged sequence.

Stagecraft: Mask Making
Mask work has been an important part of development within the performance arts. From the ancient Greeks and Italians to the heroes and supervillains of today, the way the mask looks can tell a lot about the character. Come to Stagecraft Masks where you'll get the opportunity to
design and create your own mask.
From first sketches to the final seal,
we'll be having fun while we craft our "maskerpieces".

Mainstage Summer Production Camp sets and Costumes.

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Ages 12 and up
We all have roles we dream of singing, but we know that role is too old, too young, or just not right for us. In this summer's Cabaret for Misfits, you will get a chance to sing those songs! Are you a Fiona, but have always wanted to sing Shrek? Are you 13, but have felt like you were born to play Mama Rose? Maybe you are 18 and always wanted to sing Matilda! During our four weeks, we will prepare a song that you would likely never get to perform in a musical, and we will turn these songs into a cabaret performance on the last day of class. If your favorite song doesn't "fit" you, this is your opportunity. Join our summer Misfits!
